One goal that I had in mind was to display my artwork on my website. I want it to resemble a portfolio, but also add more achievements like a resume. My goal for my favicon and header is to pick complementary colors that stand out but aren\u2019t too complicated to look at. I designed my favicon to resemble a camera because that lets my digital audience know that I enjoy photography and other forms of art. I hope that my audience understands how passionate I am about art based on my website. My idea behind my header image is to keep the same color scheme as my favicon, but also add the design of film from a camera. I decided to use Canvas to scatter patterns of film around the page to get a unique design. One goal of mine is to continue to make changes to any of my designs to better the image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I created my digital images using Canva. I\u2019ve used Canva in the past and I know that it is a good digital tool to use when I just want to make a logo or other designs. I like its elements aspect which allowed me to search for any graphics to use. I like how friendly the tool is to those who aren\u2019t tech-friendly. I enjoy changing the graphics to fit my theme. I can change the color, size, and position. I use Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro to edit my videos and photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My previous experience using these digital tools would be the various classes I took in high school and college. My background in those classes would be using Adobe products to create short films and edit photos. Adobe is a software company and to use their products you must have an internet connection. That is a challenge that I do face with the software being slow. I have also run into the problem of getting stuck, such as not knowing how to complete a task with the software. I feel the most confident using Premiere Pro than Photoshop or Illustrator only because I have used video editing tools more recently. I will feel more confident using other Adobe products with a little more practice. In the future, I plan to learn more about how to complete these tasks that I find challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, my goals before creating my website have mostly been met. Such as creating my own domain, logo, and other images. I also will display my current and past art on my page. I hope that my audience enjoys exploring my website and looking at all my art and designs. As I reflect on my images I feel proud of how they look, but also excited to see how my new designs will shape my website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital Identity Image Project <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on my project accomplishments, I find myself meeting many of my digital goals. A few are drawing out what I want my images to look like, actually creating them, and then adding them to my page. After adding my header and logo\/favicon I can finally see my webpage coming together how I first pictured it. There are still a lot of goals that I need to complete, but I am very proud of what my website looks like. My smaller accomplishments contribute to my overall goal of how I picture my website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I learned a lot of different approaches when using various online tools and digital technology to create images such as my header and favicon. I used Adobe products and Canva when designing my digital creations. While being in my digital studies class I have learned that digital methodologies refer to data collection that can be used to research, analyze, etc. Digital methods are important because they can provide clear guidance on what, who, when, and how a project should be done. The effectiveness of my project reflects many of the aspects that I am most proud of. I am most proud of the progress of my art. Most of the displayed art on my website is from high school. I can see how progressively better I get after completing one project and working on the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One challenge that I had was setting up my domain. I quickly solved that problem by asking my classmates for help and they were very helpful. Another challenge that I am currently dealing with is adding more of my sketches to my main domain. I am having issues uploading them onto my website. I will try to figure it out on my own, but if I can\u2019t then I will need to schedule an appointment with the DKC. An issue that I might find in the future is not knowing what to add to my page if I run out of content. To solve that issue I think I could brainstorm with my friends, family, classmates, or my professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe that displaying my art is how my website is going to meet my number one personal goal. My art is what I want my audience to look at, which is why I know I want to display it. Another main goal is for my website to look professional but also add my personal touches. I want a homepage that navigates my viewers inside of my accomplishments, artwork, and skills that I learned. This class has taught me how I can be creative by putting myself out into the digital world. Since this project is in progress I can make my own improvements along the way. I might change the color of my header and favicon, pick a different website theme, or add more art. I want to start from scratch with the look of my header. I don\u2019t have any ideas about it, but I want to make it look simple. Finally, I need to start adding my resume and contact information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
